In detail.
The new district administration building is a highly functional administrative complex which, with a total of 675 workstations, 45 consultation and meeting rooms, and a wide range of specialist facilities, facilitates a broad spectrum of public and internal work processes.
The ground floor forms the hub of the building. A two-storey, publicly accessible foyer featuring an information desk, vehicle registration services and a catering area welcomes visitors. The System 3400 variable all-glass wall, which is 4000 mm high and has no vertical mullions, creates a sense of transparency and emphasises the open, light-filled character of the design.
The grid structure, featuring continuous office and central zones, allows for an extremely flexible layout of various office and meeting rooms. The office areas were fitted with System 2000 units featuring flush-fitting portal doors in an oak finish. The central zones feature open-plan modules with seating, coffee points, lockers and technical facilities such as printer stations, as well as small meeting rooms fitted with System 2000 units featuring portal doors in light grey.
