In detail.
The new Science & Research Hub brings together over 200 researchers in chemistry, formulation, application and analytics.
Glass partition walls with flush-fronted glazing were installed. Constructed from room-height elements with installation heights of up to 5 m, the room layouts created are generous and luminous. Two different door variants were used: system-integrated aluminium frame doors and SG100 fire doors with a sound insulation level of Rw,P 44 dB, ensuring that both fire protection and acoustic requirements are fulfilled.
To complement the glass wall construction, solid walls with a larch veneer were used for closed wall sections. These materials lend the renovation a warm, high-end appeal and ensure harmonious transitions between transparent and opaque areas.
