Overview
Cradle to Cradle partition wall systems
Cradle to Cradle® is a design concept that takes nature as its model. All products are designed according to the principle of an infinite circular economy. Products are optimised as resources for the next phase of use right from the design and manufacturing process. Materials, raw materials and recyclables are not lost, can be recovered without loss after use and, ideally, recycled.
System 2000eco
The system has been certified as a solid wall with flush-mounted glazing and matching aluminium frame door. For C2C compliance, all ingredients have been identified, toxicologically evaluated and evidence provided on energy use, water consumption and social standards in the manufacturing process.
System 3400eco
In terms of aesthetics and design, the C2C variants are fully compatible with the standard system. Slim profiles, concealed fixings, the flat appearance of walls and doors, and easy relocatability are retained, enabling cost-effective adaptation of room structures.
C2C Lab Berlin
The C2C LAB in Berlin is the world's first holistic building renovation based on Cradle to Cradle criteria – a place where sustainability is not only taught, but can be experienced first-hand. As an educational centre, NGO office and real-world laboratory, it provides new impetus for a genuine circular economy and acts as a visible driver of quality and innovation in the capital.
Strähle's 2000eco partition wall system was used in the refurbishment of the meeting rooms. As the first C2C-certified partition wall system, it has stood for consistent sustainability for years and demonstrates how modern room solutions combine functionality, design and forward thinking. In this way, we actively support the vision of a recyclable, resource-saving construction industry.
