EPDs for Partition Systems

Strähle is the first German partition system manufacturer to have created Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for all its partition systems (System 2000, System 2300, System 3400, System 3500 and System T) and the doors installed in them.

The EPDs, which are based on ISO 14025 and EN 15804, cover the manufacturing phase, transport to the site of use, assembly/installation and disposal phase. Material inputs and material flows for the system components, energy and water consumption, data on waste and the recycling rates of the main materials were recorded.

The data included in the environmental product declarations comes from upstream suppliers and Strähle's production, as well as from published life cycle assessments and databases. All EPDs have been verified by an independent testing agency. They provide our customers and project partners with transparent and comparable data on the environmental impact of our products. The EPDs form an important basis for the holistic planning and evaluation of buildings.
