After a construction period of just over two years, Wintershall Dea's approximately 500 employees in Hamburg have moved into the new office building at Lohsepark in Hamburg's HafenCity district.

More than 100 employees worked together with the project team in working groups to develop the new office concept. In this way, the Wintershall Dea team not only helped to design the working environment, but also set an example for an open corporate culture. The result is a modern multi-space office on eight floors with flexible desk use in team zones. Open-plan areas alternate with meeting rooms and single/double offices. In between are coworking spaces known as think tanks, which serve as temporary workstations and flexible meeting rooms.
Strähle's glass walls and cubes were installed in a visually uniform manner using the black anodized Structural Glazing System 2300. 100 mm solid doors ensure maximum sound insulation. The think tanks in the double-shell System KUBUS II design were constructed for various workplace situations.
Ob Fokusraum, Besprechungsraum für 4 oder 6 Personen oder als temporärer Arbeitsplatz für 2 Personen mit Schreibtisch - für jede Arbeitssituation steht der passende Raum zur Verfügung. Die Anordnung der Kuben erfolgte sowohl in Reihenbauweise als auch als einzelne Solitäre im Open-Space.
The combination of black profiles, warm wood tones, and flush glass walls has created a high-quality working environment. The building also meets very high sustainability standards, as it was constructed in accordance with the HafenCity “Platinum” environmental label.
