SDK, Fellbach

The new head office building of health insurance provider SDK in Fellbach marks the first chapter of an extensive campus development and has workstations for approximately 550 office employees. The company wanted to create more space, strike the ideal balance between areas for relaxation and teamwork, and make the office a place where well-being is the focus. This should then lay the foundations for a corporate culture that fosters innovation, quick decisions, flexibility and valuable knowledge sharing.

Various partition wall systems supplied by Strähle play an important role in this office concept. In the entrance area, fall-proof, two-layer glass walls from the System 2000 range maintain a visual relationship with the atrium while creating an enhanced noise barrier.

Fully glazed systems installed in the office spaces maximise transparency during teamwork and meetings. The anodised black profiles create an exciting contrast with the different floors and coloured furnishings.

Solid System 2000 walls have been installed in the numerous communal and discussion areas, in some cases as freestanding elements. These walls separate the spaces and allow employees to hold short, spontaneous meetings in a quiet and private environment.
