Kronprinzbau Stuttgart

Kronprinzbau, a nine-storey mixed-use building, was completed in 2005 and blends in perfectly with the Königstraße shopping mile’s urban feel. Its offices were redesigned in 2023 and demonstrate how partition wall systems can be used to renovate spaces in a sophisticated and cost-effective way. The workspaces used by a consulting firm on the fifth and sixth floor have been partitioned using the System 2300 structural glazing system. This system features a reflective glass look and boasts high sound insulation levels due to its double-glazed design. It is highly flexible and based on a modular concept that uses the patented Strähle mullion construction with integrated suspension units.

The black anodised profiles of the glass walls elegantly tie in with the solid, coloured walls and furnishings. The room-height solid doors and extremely soundproof 100-mm aluminium frame doors have been integrated into the partition wall system so that they are flush on both sides, creating a private and confidential setting.
