Banking Institute, London
|Builder||Banking Institute, London|
|Door systems||Solid doors, all-glass doors, aluminium frame doors|
The offices in the City of London used by an international bank combine modern and classic design elements. The change between open and closed areas was realised by means of Strähle all-glass walls. The single-glazed System 3400 partition wall with anodised black profiles provides a wealth of possibilities for structuring the rooms and retaining transparency. Despite the single glazing, sound insulation levels of up to 41 dB are possible, thus guaranteeing the high level of discretion required for a bank.
The glass partition walls also function as a design element for displaying the bank's corporate design creatively by means of coloured decals and patterns. The dark profiles of the glass partitions provide an invigorating contrast to the alternating floor coverings of stone and carpet.
Depending on the use of the room, solid doors with walnut veneer or all-glass doors can be installed. This means that the rooms develop a modern, timeless atmosphere by means of different design contrasts.
