The existing building was converted into a research and development centre with office and laboratory space. Due to the growth of the business, a total of 12,000 square metres of space (formerly the production area) was converted. To improve staff well-being on the newly created premises, the 7400 glass acoustic wall from Strähle was used to create the various zones.

This made it possible for the development teams to create acoustically separate areas without the use of doors. The arrangement of the sound absorbers in the wall meant improved room acoustics and reduced reverberation times.
Combined with the acoustically effective ceiling installed on the building, this provides for a pleasant working environment with low sound levels. Also, daylight can enter the rooms unhindered, thanks to the large glazed area and the half-height absorber elements along the corridor walls.
The transparent System 7400 combines ceiling-high glazed elements with noise absorbers. This makes it possible to create acoustically separate zones. Thanks to the discreet positioning of the highly effective absorbers, the feeling of space is visually retained.
The micro-perforated absorber elements are designed specifically for human speech and have a special layered structure. They cover a wide frequency range from 100 to 5000 Hz. Closed corridor walls or doors were intentionally dispensed with.
